Family, Wealth & Legacy Expands Estate Planning Reviews
OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL - October 14, 2026 - PRESSADVANTAGE - Family, Wealth & Legacy (Biederstadt Law, P.C.) expanded its estate planning review program to incorporate automated three-year checkup schedules, secure digital asset integration, and structured family alignment sessions. The enhanced framework is designed to keep existing client trusts and wills aligned with evolving personal circumstances, changing tax rules, and newly acquired assets. Available automatically to existing estate planning clients and accessible to prospective clients through an initial strategy consultation, the program addresses a common vulnerability in traditional planning: static documents that sit unreviewed for years while real-world assets and relationships change.

PEORIA – As OSF HealthCare plans to expand its services in MidTown Plaza, some tenants are being forced to relocate in the coming years. The Joseph Companies listed the plaza for sale last October at an asking price of $1.69 million. A warranty deed filed with the Peoria County Recorder of Deeds now shows OSF HealthCare System as the current owner. OSF established its presence in the plaza in 2020 by opening a Center for Health at the former site of a Cub Foods store. Patient visits have continued to grow there, and the Center for Health has expanded the services available, OSF spokesperson Shelli Dankoff said. “This growth reflects the increasing demand for convenient, accessible ambulatory care and our commitment to bringing more services together in locations that make it easier for patients and families to access the care they need,” she said. “As we look to the future, OSF continues to evaluate how best to integrate ambulatory services and create a more coordinated, patient-centered experience across the continuum of care which may require potential expansion into some of the current retail locations.” Dankoff said OSF has been having open conversations with current tenants and working through options based

(This story was updated to add new information.) An attorney who represented the owners of a shuttered Peoria high rise has filed a lawsuit against its owners in Peoria County Circuit Court over unpaid legal fees. The Leiter Group , led by Peoria-based attorney Thomas Leiter, filed the lawsuit against MJ Illinois, LLC and its leader, Paul Kim, on Sept. 22. The suit says the company has not paid $35,422 – plus 1.5% interest – in legal fees stemming from two years of representation in an ongoing battle with the city of Peoria over fines relating to his management of Riverview Plaza, a high-rise in Downtown Peoria that closed in 2024.
