16-year-old known as ‘good kid’ shot to death in vacant Detroit lot
DETROIT – A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed Wednesday in a vacant Detroit parking lot where neighbors say a group of teens was hanging out. The boy, a student at East English Village Preparatory Academy at Finney High School was fatally shot on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 22. It’s believed the boy was with a group of teenagers at a vacant lot off the I-94 Service Drive near King Richard Street.

2 injured in I-94 crash between ambulance, car near Ann Arbor
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- Two people were injured when an ambulance driver crashed into a car parked on the side of I-94 near Ann Arbor Thursday morning. A Huron Valley Ambulance rig was traveling east on the freeway near Michigan Avenue around 5:30 a.m. May 23, responding to an emergency when the driver drifted off the roadway, said Rene Gonzalez, Michigan State Police spokesperson.
