INDIANAPOLIS — The 2024 Pack the Pantries donation drive will help keep families across Indianapolis fed thanks to the generosity of FOX59/CBS4 viewers, as well as corporate sponsors.

Throughout the day on Thursday, we raised $40,144 for Gleaners Food Bank and Midwest Food Bank, helping thousands of Hoosiers who struggle every day to access food.

This comes after a record-breaking Pack the Pantries campaign in November that raised $90,036.

While corporate sponsors donated the majority of this spring’s donations, viewers still pitched in more than $10,000 toward keeping their neighbors fed.

Corporate sponsors included the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Indians, the Indy Fuel, the Financial Center First Credit Union and Kroger. Kroger generously donated $20,000 to help Indiana residents struggling with food insecurity.

Thank you to everyone who made this donation drive happen!

Even though the drive is completed, viewers can continue to donate to both Midwest Food Bank and Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana through their respective websites. Viewers can also text gifts to each of the food banks:

  • Midwest: text @MFBINDY to 52014
  • Gleaners: text GIVE to 317-854-7707

Pack the Pantries is presented by Financial Center First Credit Union.
