Bay Bluffs works to fill gap left by hospice house closures
HARBOR SPRINGS — When Hiland Cottage closed last fall, it was the second loss of a long-term hospice community for Northern Michiganders within months. A total of 15 beds of care were lost within a span of six months, with seven beds lost at Hiland Cottage and eight beds at the McLaren Cheboygan Hospice House.
Petoskey town hall to address housing solutions
PETOSKEY — The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a special Town Hall event on Monday dedicated to addressing the area’s housing crisis. The “Hot Topics: Housing Town Hall — Collaborative Actions For Housing Solutions” event will take place from 3-5 p.m. on Monday, June 10 at the Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey.
