LFR Fire Marshal's Office investigating cause of roof fire at Bone Daddy’s
LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 9:20 p.m. on Monday at Bone Daddy’s restaurant. Firefighters that first arrived on scene saw smoke and a fire on top of the roof, according to an LFR social media post. The fire was in the kitchen/smoker area.

Family Promise receives grant to help families experiencing homelessness
LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - Family Promise of Lubbock has been awarded a grant from Superior HealthPlan to support families with children who are experiencing homelessness. This funding allows Family Promise to provide families who move into the shelter program with new bedding, sheets, and mattress covers, which they can take with them upon graduating from the 6-month program.
