Five vehicles involved in Hyattsville crash, fire

HYATTSVILLE, Md. ( DC News Now ) — One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Hyattsville on Wednesday.

In a post on the X platform at 7:25 p.m., the Hyattsville Police Department (HPD) said that officers were at the scene of a crash on Ager Road involving five vehicles.

One of the cars caught fire, but the fire had since been extinguished.

HPD said that Ager Road was closed in both directions and asked residents to avoid the area.
