Day of Prayer draws Gough Park crowd
More than 100 people gathered at noon in Gough Park last Thursday to lift their voices in praise for the 73rd National Day of Prayer. “In cities and capitals all across the United States, this is going on,” said Susan Bryant, the Grant County coordinator for the National Day of Prayer, ticking off simultaneous events happening in Washington, D.C., Albuquerque and Deming. “And here we are in Silver City, so it’s kind of neat to think that we’re all getting to do this together.”
