Huntsville City FC to host inaugural ‘Stadium Series’ beverage festivals

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — If you’re a fan of local breweries, local music and art, you might want to check out the ‘Stadium Series’ beverage festivals being held at Joe Davis Stadium this summer.
The festival series, put on in partnership with the Church Street Family Restaurant & Hospitality Group, will kick off at Wicks Family Field on Saturday, June 1.
The first event in the beverage festivals series is known as ‘Beer Cup’ on June 1, and will be followed by the ‘Wine Cup’ which will be on Saturday, July 13. The final event, the ‘Spirits Cup’ will be held on Saturday, October 12.
HCFC says that the festivals are geared toward those who enjoy a craft beverage.
“Huntsville is a city known for its craft breweries and beer enthusiasts, with beer makers found all across the metro,” said Huntsville City Football Club (FC) Managing Director of Business Operations Chad Emerson. “We look forward to celebrating those breweries and providing them with the opportunity to showcase their craft for Huntsvillians and visitors from across the region during another great event at The Joe this spring.”
The inaugural ‘Beer Cup’ will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. and will feature more than 20 breweries ready to show their drinks, pop-up shops, live music and local art.
Several breweries have already signed on to participate in the event as of May 14, including:

In addition to the breweries, organizers say those who attend can add an ‘enhanced tasting experience’ which will allow them to sample drinks specially made for the event.
General admission to ‘Beer Cup’ will allow access to beers, pop-up shops, live music and local art. VIP tickets include one extra hour of private access to the beer tasting, the enhanced tasting experience and access to the West Terrace which includes an exclusive cash bar.
General admission tickets for the ‘Beer Cup’ are $49 and VIP tickets are $79. Huntsville City FC season ticket members and Church Street Family Wine Club and Supper Club members will receive a $5 discount on their tickets. Tickets for ‘Beer Cup’ can be purchased here .
