Meet Zara! News 19’s Adoptable Pets of the Week

(WHNT) – Each week, News 19 features these furry friends looking for a fur-ever home and this week we are introducing you to Zara from the Greater Huntsville Humane Society!

She is a 1-year and 9-month-old mixed-breed female dog who is described as a young girl with lots of love to give.

GHHS says currently Zara is working on improving her manners and leash skills. She would do best in a home that is active, as she has a lot of energy and wants to play.

The shelter added that it doesn’t know how she does one-on-one with other pets now, but she might like to have a playmate to spend her days with.

She knows how to sit, appears to be potty trained, is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Apply to adopt her at ghhs.org!
