Allen County proposes offices near new jail, worries about transparency ensue
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — In 2022, Allen County Commissioners bought a new piece of land to start construction on a much-needed jail. “We purchased 140 acres back in the day with the idea that 70 acres of it was going to be used to construct a new jail,” said Nelson Peters, Allen County Commissioner.
