Bryant commit Ian Carter strikes out 9 in shutout win for Milford baseball over Billerica
MILFORD - Keith Lee wasn't bunting. The No. 4 Milford baseball team loaded the bases with three straight singles in the bottom of the first inning Wednesday against No. 13 Billerica in the Division 2 Round of 16. Nick Koch led off with a sharp single, then Louis Consigli bunted to move him over to second. Billerica threw to second to try and catch the lead runner. Koch beat the throw. Damien Carter dropped another bunt to try and put runners on second and third. Billerica again attempted to beat Koch to third, but he slid in safely.

Spring season for Newton South High School’s sports has been filled with many important achievements. Outdoor Track: This spring season, Outdoor Track continued to perform well. The Boys finished third in the 4×800 event at the Meet of Champions on Saturday, June 1st and qualified for Nationals. The Girls at the 4×800 event finished fourth and also qualified for Nationals. Of particular note are runners Emily Frawle, Nathan Hamilton, Alex Friedman, and Liam Sakakeeny.
