(25News Now) - In Baseball, Normal Community, Morton, Washington, and Tremont all come away with big wins. In Softball, both Illini Bluffs and Washington go 2-0 on the weekend in the Swing for a Cure Tournament. In Soccer, Morton and Normal U-High come with inter-conference wins. And in lacrosse, Washington gets a thrilling overtime win.
Two more ex-employees file harassment, discrimination lawsuits against Rivian
Two more former employees have filed federal lawsuits against the electric automaker Rivian, alleging they faced harassment and discrimination while on the job in Normal. The new lawsuits were filed March 12 and April 23, by the same Lombard law firm that filed three previous lawsuits with similar allegations. Those three cases have since been resolved, though the terms of any settlements have not been disclosed.

Three Rivers Conference blessed with big time athletes
The Three Rivers Conference may be a rural, small school conference, but that hasn’t kept it from producing big-time athletes. Look no further than former Orion Charger Logan Lee, who was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of last week’s NFL Draft out of the University of Iowa. He told Matt Randazzo of WQAD that he got a phone call with a Pennsylvania area code and figured it must be the Steelers calling.

(25News Now) - In Baseball, Normal Community, Normal West, Limestone, and Eureka all had thrilling victories, but Illini Bluffs had the most exciting one as IB pitcher Josh Vaughn threw a 21-strikeout perfect game. In Soccer, Metamora and Richwoods both grabbed wins at Shea Stadium in the Kick N Out Cancer Event. In softball, U-High picked up a victory in a cross-town rivalry. In tennis, today was the first day of the Pitchford Invitational, and it will continue through tomorrow.
