Detroit Lake to reach ‘full pool' in boon for summer recreation and tourism season
For the third year in a row, Detroit Lake should have a good year for summer recreation. I support the proposed Wilsonville term limit reform measures because they would help clean up an unanticipated situation created by the reforms voters adopted in 2020. Lake Oswego resident named president of Pacific Power
Lake Oswego resident Ryan Flynn was recently named the president of Pacific Power, according to a press release from the company. Pacific Power provides electricity to over 800,000 customers in Oregon, Washington and California, according to the release, and Flynn will focus on regional strategy and development while leading teams within the company. The Lake Oswego resident worked as a lawyer in Washington D.C. and Seattle before joining the company in 2006 and then rejoining it in 2018 following a move to the Netherlands, according to the release. “Ryan’s extensive knowledge of the regional energy landscape, along with his personal and professional connections to the Pacific Northwest, make him uniquely positioned to lead Pacific Power and address the many challenges facing Western utilities today,” said Cindy Crane, PacifiCorp’s chair and CEO, in the press release.
