Local high school greenhouses enjoyed overwhelming community support this month as the students sold the plants they've been growing since the beginning of the year. According to a press release from UDOT about the demonstration, a vertiport is “a defined area used for aircraft that will carry packages and people in the future.”
Long-standing Tremonton restaurant has to rebuild after fire
TREMONTON — After nearly 60 years in business, a restaurant is gaining community support after being severely damaged by a fire. Mack's Family Drive-In was founded in 1965 by Mack and Colleen Hansen. Board names Allen Matthews as new artistic director of Cache Children's Choir
LOGAN – The Board of Directors of the Cache Children’s Choir (CCC) has named Allen Matthews as the organization’s new artistic director. Matthews is a teacher and has directed choirs at the Logan Institute of Religion at Utah State University. He succeeds Christopher Machado as director of the CCC choral group. Machado was appointed to that position in 2023.

Bears softball makes deep playoff run under first-year coach

Logan father convicted of starving baby to death sentenced to prison after violating probation
LOGAN — A 39-year-old Logan man convicted of starving his one-month old baby to death has been sent to prison after violating the conditions of his probation. Zachary Michael Woirhaye had previously avoided a prison term and was sentenced to one year in jail and probation in March 2023.
