Cirrus Plans Germantown Rental Development

Carillon at Germantown is a proposed rental development by Cirrus Property Group. The firm also has a project underway in Grafton. The Germantown development has been described with differing unit counts in public records and reporting. A site plan application filed with the village identifies Daniel Hasbani of Cirrus Property Group as agent for Tanner Hahn of Faith Lutheran Church and describes the project as a 36-unit multifamily development at W172N11187 Division Road. A Milwaukee Business Journal report from January similarly characterized the plan as a 36-unit rental project. But a BizTimes report on the same church-partnered proposal described it as a 42-unit apartment community, and the available records do not clarify whether the project's size changed between filings or whether the two accounts refer to different versions of the plan.

Molson Coors ramps up marketing efforts around Brewers’ World Series run

Molson Coors “upped its game as a long-term Brewers sponsor with a series of quick-strike marketing during the playoffs and World Series,” according to Rich Kirchen of the MILWAUKEE BUSINESS JORUNAL. Three Molson Coors brands -- Miller Lite, Miller High Life and Leinenkugel’s -- remain beer sponsors inside the stadium with “products on tap and prominent signage.” For World Series Game 1 on Oct. 23, Molson Coors “offered to buy a beer for everyone in the state of Wisconsin.” The promotion “took the form of a rebate to Wisconsinites age 21 and older who purchased a 16-ounce Miller Lite.” The company also offered “free game-day tours of Miller’s west side Milwaukee brewery.” The first 120 fans in line at the Miller Brewery Visitors Center “received a commemorative Miller Lite Brewers hat.” When the World Series ended, Molson Coors announced it would produce “blue Miller Lite ‘clinch cans’ commemorating the Brewers championship.” The company said that demand “was strong, and the cans sold out within 30 minutes of their introduction.” The brewery “conjured 4,400 commemorative cans,” which marked the 44 years since the Brewers last played in the World Series. Molson Coors CMO Sofia Colucci said that the commemorative-cans project “was ‘a late-night idea’ that the company turned around in 12 days.” Following the Brewers’ parade, Miller High Life “launched a ‘mobile dive bar’ that rolled through Milwaukee and picked up a $414 bar tab at every stop” (MILWAUKEE BUSINESS JORUNAL, 11/4).

Pink Lemonade salon plans Nov. 9 reopening

The owners of Pink Lemonade Salon in Menomonee Falls plan to reopen on Nov. 9, just a week and few days after a truck crashed into the building. According to information from the Menomonee Falls Fire Department, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30 a truck crashed into a building near the W16600 block of Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls. The vehicle could not be moved until a restoration company stabilized the corner of the building structure. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital, no other injuries were reported. Traffic was diverted from the corner of Main Street and Appleton Avenue while crews worked on restoration efforts.
