Acorn’s very own Braylan Bohlman officially signed his Letter of Intent to join the Champion Tigers basketball team following high school graduation. Champion Christian College is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Tigers are members of the Association of Christian College Athletics and compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association.

Nearly 40 military veteran golfers joined in celebration of the first Hot Springs Village Military Challenge Golf Tournament on May 4th at the HSV Cortez track. Format was a four-person scramble on the first 9 holes, and five-person scramble on the second 9 holes as students from Fountain Lake School District were invited to join teams. Each player was required to hit a drive from the tee. The team selected a ball, and all team members played their next shot from that position. Each shot was selected and played using the same method until holed.
