HOPEWELL — Oliver Anthony will perform at the historic Beacon Theatre on Easter Sunday. Musicians Caleb Dillard and Joey Davis will join him on stage. On March 26 after he announced the special gospel concert would take place on Easter Sunday, the tickets sold out in less than five hours. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Beacon Hill Church's food outreach program . Since 2020, the program has served free meals to the community every Friday and typically feeds around 400 people in need.

Anthony whose legal name is Christopher Anthony Lunsford made history last year for his song "Rich Men North of Richmond" which debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. He is the first artist who reached the top spot without previously having a song on the charts. His 2024 "Out of the Woods" concert tour kicked off in Sweden in February. The final stop, at this point, is on October 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

On an Instagram post @oliver_anthony_music_fanpage, it states: Dear city officials, if it pleases the crown, might we help feed the people you have forgotten about? This has all been made possible by the Lord above. I can't think of a more important day to have a show like this than Easter Sunday.
