Island Country Markets to replace former Wailana Coffee House in Ala Moana

HONOLULU (KHON2) — ABC stores announced the opening of Oahu’s newest Island Country Markets location in Ala Moana.

The new location will post up in the former Wailana Coffee House space on Ala Moana Boulevard and is set to open on Monday.

“This location is steeped in local history, and we’re honored to be a part of its next chapter,” said President and CEO Paul Kosasa. “In all our ABC stores, including Island Country Markets, we

offer convenient one-stop shopping for both residents and visitors.”

The 11,000-square-foot store will feature an Island Deli, Sushi Kaiyo, and Island Gourmet Coffee Bar to model the Island Country Markets concept in Ko Olina.

Wailana Coffee House closed its doors in October 2018 after 48 years in business.
