Two women were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on the 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township. The crash occurred at the intersection with Knapp Road at 9:15 a.m. on April 23. Police said a Kia Sportage, driven by an 18-year-old female from Phoenixville, was traveling northbound on the 202 Parkway when it collided with a Hyundai Ioniq that was traveling eastbound on Knapp Road.

According to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, Jadminder Singh, 43, had methamphetamine and alcohol in his system on Interstate 76 in Brecknock Township when he caused a head-on collision, killing Nubia Llivipuma, 45, and Mariana Llivipuma, 39, of Santa Isabel Canton, Ecuador.
Man Charged With Stealing Semi After Traffic Stop for Seatbelt
(Reading, PA) -- A 52-year-old man from Connecticut is in the Berks County Jail for reportedly not turning in a rented semi-truck at the end of March. A state trooper discovered the rig was allegedly stolen when he pulled over Abdoul K. Conde on Interstate-78 for not wearing his seatbelt. The trooper says Conde had denied knowledge of the truck having one of its license-plate digits taped over. Officials say drivers sometimes do that to trip up license plate readers and avoid being charged for tolls.
