SEMINOLE CO, Okla. (KFOR) – A 65-year-old woman was brutally attacked by her neighbors dog on Thursday.

It was after a morning of errands that Tina Bunches’ world turned upside down.

Bunch said she was checking her mailbox when two dogs attacked and drug her into the middle of the road.

“It’s very traumatizing,” said Bunch. “I went to the mailbox to check the mail and just got charged.”

Bunch claims the dog’s owner watched and screamed as she frantically tried to fight off the dogs.

“They had so much of my hair in their mouth,” said Bunch. “I was hitting them and trying to get them off of me, and cut my hands up.”

It wasn’t until three strangers down the road heard Bunch begging for help, that help finally arrived.

“One jumped out with the two by four and went to getting them off of me,” said Bunch. “I know if those guys hadn’t come, I would have died on the street.”

The 65-year-old was flown to the hospital in Oklahoma City.

The scars and wounds from the attack were still visible when News 4 talked with Tina on Friday.

‘I’m cut up on the bottom of my feet. These two places here like a hamburger meat,” said Bunch. “I had nightmares about it last night.”

Bunch said she has called the police about her neighbor’s dogs several time over the years.

The Seminole County Police Sheriff promised something would be done.

“We just had a break in communication. But I can assure you now that the dogs are being picked up as we speak,” said Anthony Louie, Seminole County Sheriff.
