Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office patrol car involved in crash on North Main Street in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office patrol car was involved in a crash in High Point on Thursday evening.

Deputies responded to the scene at North Main Street and Horneytown Road in High Point.

At the scene, an FCSO patrol car was stopped in the brush at the side of the road with its airbag deployed. The hood of the car appeared to be heavily damaged.

A red Chevrolet was also nearby with heavy damage to the front. An engine came to rest in the middle of the intersection.

Neither of the drivers has serious injuries. The deputy was taken to the hospital, and the FCSo says he will be OK.
