Orian Anderson signs to play for Missouri Baptist University

Baseball Recap: Brawley falls despite strong effort from Sergio Garcia
If Brawley was feeling good off their 13-1 takedown of Ramona last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Brawley Wildcats fell 6-3 to the Calexico Bulldogs on Wednesday. Brawley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Calexico apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Wednesday.
SPORTS: Holtville Viking Swimmers Find Success at CIF Meet
SAN DIEGO — Holtville High swimmer Aimee Montes took seventh place in the 500 freestyle at the CIF-San Diego Section swim meet held at Torrey Pines High School here recently. Montes, a junior, finished with a time of 5 minutes, 22.87 seconds, which was 13.97 seconds better than her previous personal best. The finish was Montes’ best in what was a nice day for her at the meet. She also took 10th in the 200 freestyle, setting another personal best with a time of 2:01.23, and teamed with sophomores Molly Turner and Mayra Rivera, and freshman Mayah Taylor, to place 25th in the 4×100 freestyle relay.
