Browning coach, Daniel Connelly, retires after 30 years
BROWNING — Browning native Daniel Connelly has been coaching in the district for a combined 30 years, spending 22 years in high school and 8 years with the middle school. A lot of those years were spent as an assistant coach, but he spent his last six years running his own program as the head coach. Connelly took over the program with hopes of keeping a competitive team who would contend for championships, and making developing his boys into proper young men.
Heart Butte man admits murdering woman on Blackfeet Indian Reservation
GREAT FALLS — A Heart Butte man admitted to murdering a woman after an argument on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said. Terrance Travis Aimsback, 34, pleaded guilty to second degree murder as indicted. Aimsback faces a maximum of life in prison, a $250,000 fine and five years of supervised release.
