If Altoona was feeling good off their 12-1 takedown of DuBois last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Altoona Mountain Lions fell just short of the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Altoona was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hollidaysburg apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.

ALTOONA – The Central Mountain Wildcats were in full swing on Day One of the District 6 Track and Field Championships, delivering standout performances across various events. The Lady Wildcats made their presence felt by scoring 22 points on the opening day, currently holding the 3rd spot out of 6. Lily Hendricks led the charge for the Lady Wildcats with a 1st place finish in the Triple Jump with a 37-8.5 score clinches gold and heading to states.
