    Motorcyclist dies in Hartford crash

    HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A car collision Saturday night involving a motorcycle has left one man dead in Hartford.

    Officers with the Hartford Police Department arrived at the intersection of Fairfield Ave. and White St. at around 8:36 p.m. Once at the scene, officers witnessed a serious motor vehicle accident between a Honda Accord and a motorcycle.

    The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Roberto Laboy of Hartford.

    Police found Laboy’s red Suzuki motorcycle in the center of the roadway with his body close by. Officials say he was unresponsive and was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

    The Honda was found on the southeast side of the intersection, with its operator remaining at the scene.

    Hartford police’s Crime Scene Division continues to investigate this crash.
