Emergency roadwork caused delays in westbound lanes of I-64 at HRBT
NORFOLK, Va. ( WAVY) – Drivers on Interstate 64 faced longer-than-normal delays Monday evening at the Hampton Roads-Bridge Tunnel as crews complete emergency roadwork. As of 8:30 p.m., the west right lane and right shoulder were closed, and traffic backups were about 6.25 miles. As of about 2:30 a.m., VDOT said all westbound I-64 lanes had reopened.

Norfolk Begins Construction on Elizabeth River Ferry Dock
Starting Tuesday, September 8, the Elizabeth River Ferry stop at the Waterside Dock will not be serviced due to ongoing construction by the City of Norfolk until further notice. Ferry service to Norfolk will board/disembark at Harbor Park.
