Warrick Summer Musical brings 'Anything Goes' to Castle High in July
“Anything Goes” is set to return to the Warrick Summer Musical stage, celebrating its 30th anniversary with a run at Castle High School from July 9-12, 2026. Auditions for the show, open to all local students in grades 8-12 during the 2025-26 school year, will be held in April, according to a community announcement. The musical promises a delightful mix of characters, disguises, mistaken identities, gangster impersonations and romantic entanglements, all set aboard the S.S. American. The show features classic Cole Porter hits such as “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top” and “Anything Goes.” This year’s production will be directed by Justin McCullough-Haddix, the previous technical director of the program and a longtime theater director at Reitz High School. “For a milestone year such as this, we want something that feels like a party,” McCullough-Haddix said in the announcement. “‘Anything Goes’ is joyful, fast, funny and unapologetically entertaining. Tap numbers, big ensemble moments, and nonstop laughs make it feel like a celebration of musical theatre itself, which is exactly what a 30th anniversary should be.” Audition materials will be available by March 1 on the Summer Musical Google Classroom, using the join code 4e2tw4h.
