A school bus driver was allegedly driving with a gun. Hopewell schools have suspended them
HOPEWELL TWP. ― A school bus driver has been suspended as officials investigate accusations that they brought a gun onto their vehicle Thursday morning. In a letter to parents in the Hopewell Area School District, Superintendent Jeff Beltz said the incident occurred on a bus that was taking students to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and Midland Innovation and Technology Charter School. A student reported seeing a revolver fall onto the bus floor from the driver's lap while on the way to the school, with the driver immediately picking up the weapon and keeping it out of sight.
