Boonsborough Museum of History joins The Civil War Trails
BOONSBORO — The Boonsborough Museum of History recently joined the multi-state Civil War Trails (CWT) program. The program directs travelers to more than 1,500 sites across six states. This not only will help visitors better understand the skirmish which swirled through the streets of Boonsboro in 1862, but also will promote the museum internationally.

Washington County election headquarters is specific polling place; early voting is over
Several people showed up at the Washington County Board of Elections headquarters on Tuesday to vote, thinking it was still a voting place for any voter in the county. With early voting over, the Virginia Avenue headquarters in Halfway is now a polling place for a specific district, Election Director Barry Jackson said. Folks from outside that voting precinct can cast a provisional ballot at election headquarters, but those ballots will not include city of Hagerstown races for mayor and City Council, Jackson said.
