LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A teen struck by a car outside Lakota East’s Freshman School may not survive. Aspen Runnels suffered a brain injury and is in a medically induced coma. His mother said her family will make decisions about quality of life and survival after testing is done on Tuesday. She said that if Aspen survives, he will be paralyzed. The boy was in a marked crosswalk on May 15 when a car hit him on Bethany Road.

Hubbard driver jailed, charged with aggravated vehicular homicide
The driver charged in connection with a deadly one-car crash in Liberty is out of the hospital and now in jail.
