Softball: Steinert Shuts Out Hamilton West/Nottingham, 5-0, on Miller's Perfect Game

HAMILTON, NJ -- Sophomore Ellie Miller pitched a perfect game to lead Steinert to a 5-0 softball victory over the Hamilton West/Nottingham co-op on Wednesday.

Miller struck out 13 batters. It was the second time this season that Miller has struck out 10 batters or more in a game, and she's only gone seven innings in those two games.

Addison Hassan went 3-for-4 with a run batted in and Riley Mikolajczak went 3-for-4 for Steinert (7-1), which scored its first run in the fourth inning and then two more in the fifth. Bianca Walsh went 2-for-5 with a run scored and Brooke DeWitt had a single and an RBI.

Allyson Fonollosa of HW-N allowed two walks and six strikeouts and only two of the runs against her were earned.
