MARYLAND — A severe storm risk is in place Friday, October 16, and it has been expanded to include Delmarva. A squall line is expected to form during the afternoon and move through the region in the evening, mainly between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The biggest concern is damaging wind, with gusts that could reach 60 to 75 mph in the hardest-hit areas.
