GPD: Juvenile, 2 others arrested in shots fired incident

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Three people were arrested, one of them being a juvenile, in a shots-fired incident that happened Sunday around 1:14 a.m. in Guilderland. The unnamed juvenile, Jason Peck (41, Guilderland), and Martin Dipardo (43, Guilderland), each face several charges.

Police were called to Frenches Hollow Road near the Watervliet Reservoir early Sunday morning. Officers responded and found a pickup truck with three people inside.

Guilderland Police say one of the men threw a loaded handgun into a wooded area near the truck. An investigation found the gun was stolen out of Las Vegas, per police.

Police executed a search warrant at 2336 Western Avenue, where they say they found additional evidence. Officers say the incident was linked to similar shots fired calls in the same area and at the 2336 Western Avenue residence.

Peck Charges:

• Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
• Third-degree criminal possession of stolen property
• Fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
• Endangering the welfare of a child

Dipardo Charges:

• Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
• Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
• Fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
• Endangering the welfare of a child

Juvenile Charges:

• Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
• Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
• Fourth-degree stolen property

Peck and Dipardo were arraigned in Guilderland Town Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility. Police say Peck was previously convicted on another stolen weapon charge.
