Grove City man jailed on rape charges: Report

PINE TWP., Pa. (WKBN) — A man is in the Mercer County jail stemming from sexual assault charges dating back to 2018, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.

Rory Donaldson, 30, of Grove City, Pennsylvania is facing charges of rape of an unconscious person, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with an unconscious person, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault of an unconscious person. They are all felony charges.

The Mercer post of PSP is assigned to the case, traced back to a December 2018 incident in Pine Township. Reports state video footage was recovered of Donaldson having sexual contact with a woman while she was unconscious.

He was arraigned last Tuesday and is set to return to court May 1 for a preliminary hearing.

Donaldson remains in Mercer County prison after being unable to post a $100,000 bond, according to court records.
