Power restored in Greensboro after Sunday night thunderstorms
GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE AS OF 6:02 a.m.: Power restored in the area. Severe thunderstorms in the area has left thousands of North Carolinians without power. The outages are scattered all over the Triad. The largest one left over 2,000 people without power with an estimated repair time of 5 a.m. Monday morning, according to Duke Energy.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: The outage has been fixed, and power has been restored, according to the Duke Energy outage map. UPDATE: As of late Monday night, the outage has been reduced to just over 440 people. Duke Energy said the outage was caused by an object coming into contact with power lines.
