Robbery suspect grabs cash register from Greenfield convenience store

GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Greenfield police are searching for a robbery suspect that allegedly stole a cash register from a convenience store on Conway Street Tuesday night.

According to Greenfield police, the incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday at the Calls Corner Store. Police learned that the robbery suspect, identified as a skinny man, was wearing a mask and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then took the cash register and left the store.

Police K-9 Niko was able to track a scent out of the convenience store but was unable to find the suspect or the register.

Video shared by the convenience store of the incident show the robbery suspect pointing at the register, then jumping on top of the counter and pulling the full register to the ground. He then picks it up and leaves.
