Loris planners ponder Planned Development District
For 22 years, an enabling ordinance for Planned Development Districts has been sitting unused on the shelf in Loris. Now, a Charleston-based developer is blowing off the proverbial dust and planning a mixed-use PDD on an 18.8-acre tract off Highway 701 and Meadow Street near downtown Loris.
