Art Students’ Work Recognized by Local Group
ROCK SPRINGS – Each year, the Women’s Club of Sweetwater County recognizes students who have been included in the school exhibits at the Community Fine Arts Center. A group of promising young artists were recognized for their talents at a presentation and reception at the CFAC May 7. The organization was founded by Ashlee Lansang, a local Physical Therapist and owner of In Motion PT. Ashlee recognized a need for persons with physical disabilities to overcome adversity with support and equipment, allowing them to live each day to the fullest.
I-80 Tunnels Closing May 15 for Maintenance
GREEN RIVER – The Wyoming Department of Transportation will be closing access to the Interstate 80 tunnels outside of Green River during the evening of May 15 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will be performing annual maintenance on the electrical infrastructure, as well as cleaning and road maintenance.
