Man sues county for $2 million for using his name in a letter
MACON, Ga. -- A Macon man has filed a $2 million lawsuit against Macon-Bibb County and the Bibb Superior Court for copyright violation. On May 9, Desmond Lee Brown sent an invoice to the county requesting $2 million for multiple uses of his name "Desmond Lee Brown" without his consent. The invoice says his trademarked name was used a total of four times: three times in a letter and once in the envelope that contained that letter.
