ARDOT Awards Bid To Repave Hwy. 114
LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) announced this week that Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel Company has been awarded a $5.2 million bid to resurface more than eight miles Hwy. 114 in Cleveland County.ARDOT said the project includes repaving 8.4 miles of Hwy. 114 from the Hwy. 35 intersection south of Rison to the Hwy. 63 intersection at Calmer. The total bid for the project was $5,245,267.14, according to ARDOT.Ellen Coulter, spokesperson for ARDOT, said no official work order for the project has been released yet by the state, but the contractor has indicated work would begin later this summer.
