A Hmong American woman who has lived in the Milwaukee area since she was 8 months old was deported last week to Laos, a country she has never visited, and says she is stranded in a rooming house surrounded by military guards. Ma Yang, 37, a mother of five, said she does not speak the Lao language, has no family or friends in the country and that the military is holding all her documents. 'Believed to be in imminent danger': Police continue Amber Alert search for pregnant Wisconsin teen
BEAVER DAM, Wis — Authorities are continuing the search for a pregnant 16-year-old missing from eastern Wisconsin. 16-year-old Sophia Franklin was last seen on Feb. 2. Police say she is believed to be with 40-year-old Gary Day, who is known to be the father of Franklin's unborn child. There is a no-contact order for Franklin and Day.
