Jeff Grev leaving Hormel Foods after 40 years
AUSTIN, Minn. – Jeff Grev, vice president of legislative affairs for Hormel Foods Corporation, is retiring after 40 years with the company. “I want to thank Jeff for his four decades of extraordinary service to our company. I’m grateful for his leadership, vision and the significant contributions he made in sales, marketing, corporate development and most recently as vice president of legislative affairs,” says Jim Snee, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Hormel Foods. “I wish Jeff and his wife Chris all the best in retirement.”

Medford also competed at a five-team meet. GMLOKS guys’ firsts: T. Georgen (800 > 2:11.25), C. Glynn (1,600 > 5:09.97), Landon Chilman (300-hurdles > 43.63), the 4×400 (3:41.92 > Nathaniel Drees, Glynn, Georgen, Erik Shaw), and 4×800 (8:47.06 > Glynn, Drees, Shaw, Georgen) teams. Drees (400), Shaw (800), and Chilman (110-hurdles) added second place finishes. Brede Nelsen (Pole Vault) took third. Beau Wiersma had an individual fourth (200), fifth (Long Jump), and sixth (100). Chatfield’s 4×200 (Alden Pearson, Keegan Patten, Lane Schmaltz, Simon Erding) took second. Patten (110-hurdles), Maddex Lanning (800), and Ivar Stavlund (3,200) took third.
