Kids in MidCity Excellence are making friends and learning about music as part of an after-school drumline group. MidCity Excellence provides several after-school programs for kids and adults from preschool to 12th grade. Ricky Dean’s and Treasure Gardens worked together to give back an old tradition to St. Joseph with their pop-up Christmas tree farm. The Cool Crest parking lot used to be home of the previous Christmas tree farm. People came from all over the area to pick up a tree. However, in 2018, the Millard Brothers, who provided the trees, retired and brought the tradition to a halt.
