Mulch Fire In Gorman Prompts Response From Firefighters

A mulch fire in Gorman prompted a response from firefighters Monday.

Around 5:40 p.m. Monday, first responders received reports of a fire on Highway 138 and 300 Street West in Gorman, said Bernard Peters, a dispatch supervisor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

As of 6 p.m., the fire is burning 10 acres of mulch, according to officials.

No structures are threatened.
