Here's where to find free summer meals for kids
(KTEN) — A number of area school districts and other community organizations will be offering free breakfast and lunch for students during the summer vacation. Free breakfast (7:30-9 a.m.) and lunch (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) service starts May 28 at the B. McDaniel Intermediate campus, serving ages 2-18. Meals will be provided through June 26. A similar service will be available at the Mayes Elementary campus from June 3-21.

Sherman City Council approves over $1 million to advance water infrastructure
SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) - Sherman City Council members approved more than $1 million for water treatment. More homes and more businesses mean a need for better infrastructure to meet water demands. $900,000 will be allocated for engineering to rehab and upsize the main water line that flows into the water treatment plant.
