Bustin's subsequent arrest for pedestrian infractions revealed her possession of prescription medication not prescribed to her, prompting charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Paris Police Report For Tuesday, December 5
On Monday at 2:03 pm, an officer stopped a vehicle with an expired registration in the 1000 block of Pine Bluff. The driver was Joe William Acevedo, 38. Acevedo had a city traffic warrant for no insurance. They arrested him, and a subsequent inventory of Acevedo’s vehicle located Methamphetamine as well as prescription medications not prescribed to Acevedo. Officers charged Acevedo with Possession of a Controlled Substance on two counts.

Paris Police Report For Monday, December 4
On Friday morning at 11:41, a homeowner reported a residential Burglary in the 1800 block of Pine Bluff Street. They had ransacked the residence, and the burglars broke a kitchen door and a window to gain entry. A Brother sewing machine in a plastic case, valued at $300, was the only item reported stolen. Police are investigating the incident.
Weatherford man dies in single-vehicle accident in Greenville
In Hunt County Sunday evening, a Weatherford man died in a wreck on Highway 69 while driving through Greenville. Police say the single-vehicle accident happened at about 5:45 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 69, just south of Home Drive. Police say they found that a white Dodge Ram pickup had rolled over and the driver was dead at the scene. Police identified the man as 38-year-old Casey Allen Jones of Weatherford.

Six From Paris Arrested In Hugo
On Tuesday, November 21, Hugo Police, Choctaw County Deputies, and Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police responded to a report of multiple gunshots fired into a residence located at 205 East Central Street. They found the suspect’s red SUV with five individuals, finding the sixth later, all from Paris. Paris Police had reported the firearm stolen out of their department.
