Lynn Program Teaches Former Inmates Business Skills
LYNN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A free program offered by a consulting firm is helping formerly incarcerated people learn business skills. The 12-week course is called the Business of Hard Knocks, and it’s provided by Roads Consulting Group. Through the program, former inmates and their families learn how to start their own businesses since it can be difficult to find a job out of prison.
Using Technology to Help Enforce Parking Limits
Parking, especially during warm weather, is one of those perennial concerns around town that never seems to be fully resolved. Generally, there is adequate parking, but certainly, there are times (hot summer weekends!) when parking is at a premium, and residents and visitors get frustrated trying to find a parking spot in the village core area or at Singing Beach.
