Seven postal workers in Providence have been charged with running a long-running mail theft ring at the Providence Postal Processing and Distribution Center. The thefts, which involved gift cards, cash, and checks, were not isolated incidents and involved multiple conspiracy members. RI Weather: Providence has morning flood warning after rainy night
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for this morning for parts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts after between 1 to 3 inches of rain fell overnight. "The areas that see typical nuisance flooding will be dealing with the majority of the flooding today," Meteorologist Bill Leatham of the National Weather Service said. "But the swath of rain that's currently on us will begin to drift away this afternoon."
