BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - No injuries were reported after a Bedford County crash, according to the Bedford Fire Department. The Bedford Fire Department responded to a crash with two people in a vehicle; the driver had hit a building May 10 at 11:56 p.m. on the 12000 block of West Lynchburg Salem Turnpike in Blue Ridge, VA.

Three arrested following Alleghany County drug bust
ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on drug-related charges after serving a search warrant on Tuesday, May 6. According to the sheriff, the Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force and Virginia State Police conducted the search at a home on the 100 block of Bailey’s Road in Covington.
Warehouse catches fire in Alleghany County, firefighter taken to hospital
ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) –Smoke could be seen billowing from the Iron Gate area in Alleghany County after a warehouse caught fire on Monday afternoon. According to the Iron Gate Volunteer Fire and Rescue, around 1:14 p.m. on May 6, multiple units across Alleghany County were dispatched to battle a fire at the Garten Trucking & Warehouse. The warehouse is used for storing paper and carpet products.
