State Police in Bath arrest a Connecticut resident for Unlawfully Fleeing an Officer 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Reckless Driving, and multiple traffic violations.
On March 26, 2023, troopers from SP Bath were advised of a vehicle involved in a pursuit in Allegany County possibly heading in the direction of Bath. Troopers observed the vehicle at a high rate of speed eastbound on Interstate 86 in the town of Fremont. Troopers attempted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle which failed to comply. Due to the circumstances, the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was later located in the village of Bath. Troopers located the suspect nearby and subsequently arrested Brandon S. Lopez, age 20 of Connecticut, for Unlawfully Fleeing an Officer 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Reckless Driving, and multiple traffic violations.
